The 2026–2027 Course Catalog represents a collaborative effort between Central Regional Area Career and Technical Center (CRACTC), Bakken Area Skills Center (BASC), Roughrider Area Career & Technology Center (RACTC), and the Great Western Network (GWN).
This catalog outlines a wide range of Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses designed to prepare students for high-skill, high-demand careers, postsecondary education, apprenticeships, and direct entry into the workforce. Program areas include Agriculture, Health Sciences, Skilled Trades, Heavy Equipment and Transportation, Business and Marketing, Information Technology and Cybersecurity, Engineering and Technology, Family & Consumer Sciences, Aviation, Military Pathways, and Work-Based Learning.
Courses are delivered through a combination of online instruction, Interactive Television (ITV), hybrid models, and required hands-on learning days, ensuring students gain both academic knowledge and real-world technical skills. Many offerings include industry certifications, dual-credit opportunities, and structured work-based learning experiences developed in partnership with colleges, employers, healthcare providers, and industry leaders.
Students and families are encouraged to work closely with their school counselor and program directors to ensure courses align with graduation requirements, career goals, and postsecondary plans. All registrations for CRACTC, BASC, RACTC, and GWN courses are completed through the Western Dakota registration system.
