Mission Statement

The Roughrider Area Career and Technology Center (RACTC), Career Development Counselors’ mission is to collaboratively guide students across our consortium schools in exploring and pursuing career pathways that align with North Dakota’s workforce needs. Through shared resources, coordinated efforts, and strong partnerships with local industry and postsecondary institutions, we empower students to develop the skills, confidence, and direction needed for success in high-demand careers and lifelong learning.

Our vision is to build a unified regional network that connects education, community, and workforce development across the RACTC consortium. We envision every student graduating from our partner schools with a clear career plan, real-world experience, and a commitment to strengthening North Dakota’s workforce and communities through their chosen pathways.
